A glowing pillar of light made from silver birch bark mounted on a brass base with on/off pull switch and vintage style cord.

The birch lampshade is handcrafted from birch bark collected from fallen River Birch trees in Roscoe, NY, constructed with a gold mesh interior and frosted glass top.

Each piece of bark has been detached (from a fallen tree), carried (down a mountain), washed, flattened, coaxed, and sewn together (all by hand) to nurture the feeling of calm and splendor that a walk in the woods provides.
